Learn How to Style this Two-Tone Silk Knit Tie
The key is to balance the boldness of the tie with complementary colors and textures. Start with a crisp white dress shirt to provide a neutral backdrop that allows the tie to stand out.
Pair it with a charcoal gray suit to create a cohesive look that ties in with the charcoal element of the tie. The subtle sheen of the changeant silk will add a touch of elegance without overwhelming the outfit.
For a more casual yet polished look, consider pairing the tie with a light blue or pale gray shirt and a navy blazer. This combination works well for business-casual settings and adds a bit of color contrast without clashing.
Opt for brown leather accessories, such as a belt and shoes, to harmonize with the cognac yellow tones in the tie. This will create a balanced and well-coordinated appearance.
When it comes to accessories, keep them minimal to let the tie be the focal point. A simple pocket square in a complementary color, such as a muted yellow or gray, can add a touch of flair without competing with the tie. Avoid overly bold patterns in other elements of your outfit to maintain a sophisticated and cohesive look.
By carefully selecting your shirt, suit, and accessories, you can make the two-tone knit tie in charcoal and cognac yellow changeant silk a standout piece in your wardrobe.

How to Wear This Silk Knit Tie
Knit ties, with their unique textured fabric, offer a delightful twist to the classic style narrative. They bridge the gap between casual charm and formal elegance, making them a versatile accessory for any gentleman’s wardrobe. Unlike their solid counterparts, knit ties provide a subtle nod to sartorial flair without demanding center stage, allowing for a sophisticated yet understated look.
The unique texture of a silk knit tie adds a tactile dimension to your attire. It lends a depth and character that standard smooth ties cannot match, creating an interplay of light and shadow that’s both distinctive and stylish.
Two distinct silk yarns have been woven together to produce this gorgeous tie. The result is an alternating pattern of changing colors that, thanks to the texture of the time, seems to shift and change before your very eyes for a dreamy effect. There remains, however, a regimented order to the arrangement of the colors, helping this tie to remain more formal and decorous.
Please Note: Because this tie was knitted flat and shaped on a wooden mold, a small amount of size contraction takes place immediately after the tie is removed from the mold. As the fabric relaxes over time, the width and length of the tie will increase slightly. Keep in mind that as a handmade product, all stated dimensions are approximate and actual dimensions will vary slightly.
As a general rule, our ties have a length tolerance of 1.5″ – 4 cm
Impeccable Materials
The story of this silk knit tie begins with the finest Swiss silk, custom-spun and dyed in a historic mill to achieve its distinctive sheen and depth. This exclusive yarn is then carefully knitted in a European workshop using an artisanal flat-knitting machine that has been in continuous service for generations. Its rhythm and precision produce a weave that is dense yet pliant, crisp yet inviting; a tactile expression of true craftsmanship.
Artisanal Craft Techniques
Unlike common tubular knits, each tie is shaped by hand to achieve a clean, elegant drape. The central stitching adds subtle structure and ensures that the tie keeps its refined lines over years of wear. Finally, it rests on traditional wooden molds for days, allowing the silk to settle naturally into its ideal form: a quiet detail that defines true luxury.
Totally Unique
Slight variations in shape are not imperfections but the individual signature of human hands at work, reminding you that each piece is one-of-a-kind, as an heirloom in the making, ready to bring timeless sophistication to every occasion.
Cleaning
Do not attempt to wash this silk knit tie. If you notice a stain, we strongly suggest that you have the tie dry cleaned.
If you wish to attempt a spot-cleaning at home, do so using the following procedure at your own risk.
- Gently blot any excess liquid from the stain with a soft, dry cloth. Do not rub, as this can damage the silk fibers.
- Fill a small bowl with lukewarm water and add a few drops of mild detergent.
- Dip a clean, white cloth into the soapy water and wring out excess moisture. Dab the stain gently with the damp cloth.
- Moisten another clean cloth with plain lukewarm water and dab the tie to remove soap residue.
- Pat the cleaned area with a dry cloth. Then, lay the tie flat on a towel to air dry completely.
Storage
- To prevent heavy creasing, never store your neck wear tied or knotted.
- Undo the knot and then roll the necktie up in a firm but not excessively tight coil.
- Allow it to sit in the coil for about a day to relax wrinkles.
- To reduce stretching, knit ties should be stored rolled or flat.
